The kids were soo excited to go to Disneyland! We woke up bright and early to be in the front of the line. After we got our tickets we waited at the gate, and then at the rope. It was a little cold, but we soon warmed up as we ran to the rides. We started at Splash Mountain, a personal Favorite. Benton and I were the first in line and were personally escorted to the ride. We were the only ones on the ride! Benton liked the songs, but thought some of the characters were scary (vultures) and didn't particularly like the drop. Adam tried to go on it with him again, but he refused, so we headed over to Winnie the Pooh. All of us like that ride. Mae was in awe. She just tried to soak it all in. Then we tried Haunted Mansion...not a hit. Everyone had their eyes covered, even though it was Jack Skeleton. After that, Benton was a little apprehensive of each ride. Emmie seemed to still enjoy each ride and was not quite as sensitive. We tried Pirates, again some eyes covered, but I think they like the characters...maybe they were a little too life-like though. Adam took all of the kids up the Tarzan Treehouse which they loved. Of course they climbed all over everything and wanted to do it again and again! Adam took Benton and Emmie on Autopia. Benton was in heaven...finally a ride he LOVED! He got to steer the car and thought that was the coolest thing ever. Emmie enjoyed the scenery, and Mae took a nap in the stroller. Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters was another hit with Benton. He thought the life-like characters were a bit unnerving, but really enjoyed shooting a laser. He thought the big Buzz was pretty cool too. Emmie loved seeing Buzz as well, but mostly just watched daddy shoot the bad guys. We saw Alice and Emmie was excited to take a pic, Benton just stood by and looked on. Emmie was amazed at all of the princesses she saw and thought they were amazing. It's a Small World was nice a relaxing cruise for all of us. We stopped at Toon Town and visited Minnie as well. Emmie loved going into her house and pretending to put on make-up and eat lunch. Benton and I rode the Goofy Coaster with Emmie. He sat in a spot by himself and the whole time I yelled "hold on Benton" because it looked like he was going to slip out! Emmie just snuggled up with me and held on for dear life. It was a pretty intense coaster for those little guys! Of course we hit the teacups (a personal fav) and all enjoyed spinning around, we actually did it twice. The lines were awesome, food good, but expensive, and the company was amazing! We had soo much fun seeing the joy and excitement on the kids faces!
