Halloween was awesome! We had a special Halloween party with yummy "spooky" food and then took the kids trick or treating. Benton and Emmie loved going door to door, and Mae really got into it when she discovered they were handing out "canny". She kept taking it out of her bag and holding onto it for dear life. We just went around our neighborhood and chatted as we went. The only incident we had was when Emmie chewed her glow stick and got it in her mouth. Luckily I had just seen on the news they were non-toxic. Phew. The kids ate tons of candy. We piled all into the community bowl and had a feast. Then we all conked out! What a great night!
