Halloween Party

We had our first Halloween celebration at a ward party with Grandpa and Grandma Francois. All of the family joined in the fun. We had chili and hot dogs and the kids participated in an indoor carnival. They played some games and won candy and even went through a maze. Benton ventured through the "spook alley" with Pa and was so scared! He half covered his eyes and hurried through. Afterwards we went trunk or treating from car to car in the parking lot. Everytime Mae was handed a candy, she would open it and begin to eat it. I had to keep taking candy and placing it in the basket before she would eat it. She just couldn't eat them fast enough. That is one candy lover. Lyndie was clueless, but enjoyed having a treat at the end. Benton and Emmie are good at saving their candy, but loved to leave us slow pokes in the dust! All in all, a great evening of candy and costumes!
