4th of July
We had a fun and festive celebration! We celebrated at Jackie's house. We had a BBQ and the daddy's took the kids swimming while the mommy's stayed in the house where it was cool. The kids had a great time. Lyndie jumped in, no fear. Mae of course was all over the place! Benton and Emmie loved swimming as always. A highlight was watching Pa and Daddy jump through a tiny little circle floatie into the water. We also sang to Lyndie and celebrated her upcoming birthday together. She loved the frosting on the cupcake, but barely touched the rest. She was such a cutie blowing her candles out. She is getting too big! She is saying more words each day and acting like a little girl, instead of a baby. I especially love our snuggle time, which is frequent. She often comes up to me and lays her head on my lap/shoulder/tummy to snuggle while sucking her fingers. After the BBQ we headed over to a park near the Gilbert Temple, beautiful view! We watched a distant fireworks show and the kids ran around with glow in the dark bracelets. We are so grateful for our freedoms and for this wonderful country!
