The kids start their new Homeschool program at Eagleridge. They are excited, but a little nervous. Mae is especially nervous and has shed a few tears. This is their first experience going to a "real school". Daddy gave them father's blessings last night to prepare and bless them for this year.

Emerson, Lyndie and I chilled for the day. We did some crafts together, cleaned the house, and enjoyed some quite time. These two play well together and are adorable. They play cars, watch shows, and snuggle. Such sweeties. The reports from daddy about the kids at school were spot on. They lined up with their classes and Benton made a friend in the first 30 seconds. Mae stood there and cried. Emmie just stood quietly alone. At the end of the day they were also spot on. Benton made a new friend, Nicolas, and had a blast in all of his classes. He played with lots of kids, but only remembered one name. He thought buying his lunch was awesome or "osum" as he spells it. He likes his teachers and is excited for the new activities and things he will be learning. Emmie said she made no friends, but played jump rope with two girls at recess. I told her those are friends! She talked to the kids at her table and loves her teacher. She likes art and looks forward to next week. Mae said everyone in her class is her friend. She couldn't button her pants back up so left them unbuttoned all day after using the bathroom. She loves her teacher and had a great time with "everyone's my friend". I am so proud of these three.
