The day after Christmas we made the drive to Manti, UT to spend a second Christmas with my family. It took about 11 hours to get there because the roads were snowpacked...but very beautiful! We spent that evening being pulled behind the RAV on sleds around the streets of Manti. Benton and Emmie even took a ride! They were a little nervous about the cold wind, but enjoyed the ride. We spent a week there playing in the snow, enjoying the small shops, eating good food, attending the Fairview Museum, shopping in Sandy, and taking in the breathtaking scenery of Sky Lane. It was a nice relaxing trip! Benton especially enjoyed his new toys, building Frosty, looking at "Chemis Lights", and sliding down a small hill on his belly. He loves the snow!!! Emmie decided she would start walking. She took 16 or more steps in a row while we were there and then on the 5th decided it was time, and she's been walking ever since! It's amazing how fast they grow! Her and Benton are really starting to enjoy playing together.
