We showed up in Manti just in time to celebrate the 24th of July/Pioneer Day. This time the entire Francois' clan was there. We started the festivities by attending the parade in Spring City. Loved the candy!!! The parade was small but super fun. The kids enjoyed seeing the fire truck, bands, and horses...although it did get a little loud for them. Afterwards, we picnicked at the school and the kids got to do some bounce houses/slides. They loved the big slide when it was just being set up, but the second time they went down the water had been turned on, they were a little surprised to get soaked that time around! We bought some homemade kettle corn and ran around at the play ground for awhile too. The kids did a few pioneer crafts in the gym. We spent the rest of the day at the local pool...so fun...and watching the fireworks that night. Benton especially loved the local pool, the slide was a hit, and he made the rounds through all of us to take him down over and over. Emmie loved the whirl pool and floated around and around. Super fun!
