Mae is officially One Year Old! I can't belive how fast she is growing! We had a great time celebrating her birthday with a family home evening birthday bash. We invited family over, ate pizza and cupcakes, and opened presents. Mae loved the cupcakes so much she ate two, and would have had more if I let her! She also loved the pizza. She understood opening presents pretty well, she definitely understood that they were her presents and had a very hard time sharing. Her favorite gifts were the loving family doll and toddler (she held them while opening other presents) and soon discovered she loved her new baby, tea set, and van just as much. She would scream every time someone else tried to play with her gifts. She even took one step a few days before her big day! On Saturday she stood and took one step and on Sunday she did it again twice. Her feet are just too petite to support that chunkiness. She loves to sing along with us and she loves to sit up and cross her feet her kick her legs up and down while sitting. She has a squinty grin that shows off her 6 teeth (four on top, two on bottom). She has curly-q locks in the back of her head and loves to pretend like she's a big girl and sit in our little blue chair. She is a sweet little addition to our family and her brother and sister certainly love her! They all love to give each other hugs and kisses. Those girls sure love playing together too, cooking food and laughing together. Mae is just growing up so fast!
