We put our tree up early this year since we will be spending Christmas in Manti. I set up the tree earlier in the day with the kids and then we waited for Adam to get home to decorate it. The kids had lots of fun. They clumped the ornaments together around the bottom and were so proud (I spread them out later). The had fun finding their ornaments from the box and remembering where we got them. Mae even helped by pulling out ornaments, but needed help hanging them. It's so magical to decorate the tree together, especially as the kids grow. We pulled out our nativity as well and the kids gingerly set it up as we looked at each piece and remembered the Lord's birth. They love to play with their nativity and to take care of baby Jesus. It's such a special time of year!
