We spent the day, or at least most of it, at Amazing Jake's to celebrate Mae's birthday as a family. We had some gift cards leftover from Uncle Mark that hadn't been used and thought the kids would enjoy a party day together! They loved it. We started the day by eating lunch. We had arrived around 1 pm and were starving. We made good use of the buffet and all you can drink soda. The playtime started with Emmie, Mae, and Benton doing the rock wall. They were a little nervous and didn't get far, but had fun.
Teacups were dizzy and fun.
The crowd pleaser was the roller coaster. Fast and furious, and even went backwards. This was Benton's favorite ride.
Daddy did not enjoy it so much. It made him a little sick.
Benton's 2nd favorite was the bumper cars. Mommy had fun ramming into him and Emmie.
Lyndie and Mae enjoyed playing the motorcycle games. Lyndie also loved the carousel.
Mae went bowling for the first time and did great. She loved pushing the ball down the "cheater" ramp. Emmie's favorite ride was the frog hopper, she went on it repeatedly and never got sick or tired of it! Benton even made a few friends to ride the roller coaster with, and they convinced him to take a spin on the frog hopper. He didn't like it. We had dinner there and the kids did laser tag. We finally headed home after choosing prizes and being there for seven hours! It was so fun, but so tiring. The best part was celebrating with that sweet little Mae girl.
