This past Memorial Day Weekend we headed up to Williams Arizona for our Hardman Family Reunion (my mom's side). We arrived late Friday evening at a house we rented with my family. We were able to drive through the historic Route 66 part of town and enjoyed the nostalgia. Benton enjoyed the tub of trucks and cars kept at the house, and Emmie enjoyed taking them away. Saturday morning we met the family at the Grand Canyon where we spent the day enjoying the scenery and walking an awful lot!! I spent my time worrying about the kids and keeping them thoroughly strapped in! It was a beautiful day with wonderful weather, and it only starting raining as we got in the cars to leave. We spent the rest of the day and Sunday at a house the Gilberts had rented. We ate lots of yummy food, played ping pong (I actually won a few rounds!), rode the power wheels jeep (Benton loved playing with his kids), threw a few horseshoes (Adam is a pro after all), played card games, rode the Polaris jeep/atv (Emmie even took a quick spin), and had a wonderful testimony meeting. It was so wonderful to be there with the family and enjoy their company. We are so blessed to have them in our lives and love them and thank them for their examples. We missed those who were not able to attend and hope to see you in the near future!!! Thanks Jolene for planning a fantastic weekend!

My strapped down babies and the beautiful Grand Canyon!

The family enjoying the view.

Benton with a little freedom, but not too much!!

A little jeep action.

We even stopped by the train station in Williams to take a few pictures and let Benton bask in the glow of "Thomas" and other train friends.

It was fun to see you and your cute little family too. I'm glad I wasn't too rough on the four-wheeler. Let me know when you are in Utah. Do you think you will come up to see Grandma and Grandpa?
