Christmas Eve 2009

We spent some time at the Francois' on Christmas Eve after enjoying a flick at the dollar theater. We had a yummy feast and even had a chance to "act out" the nativity. The kids were in costume about five minutes and we very quickly told the story before costumes were disgarded and we instead enjoyed story time. The kids looked adorable in their traditional CHristmas Eve pajama gift. They really liked lighting luminaries and seeing all of the lights around the block. They especially loved their aweseome "michael cycle" from Grandma and Grandpa Francois. They had a blast riding it around the street...Emmie takes control first chance she gets and boy you better stay our of her way! Benton is a little more cautious, I should emphasize LITTLE. He loves to take off and go exploring! We had such a wonderful evening and I really enjoyed being with my three little angels (and one big one) as we celebrated the birth of Jesus Christ. It was neat to see them learn the story and become so interested in a little baby and grow to love Him. They loved to take the baby Jesus out of our nativity and look at him, kiss him, and retell the story of His glorious birth. I know that Jesus Christ is the Saviour of the world!
