The Easter bunny came one day early at our house because daddy was going to be at the Randolph House Easter morning. Earlier that week Benton woke up and came in my room saying "mommy the easter bunny didn't come!" He thought it was Easter already and he had been forgotten. After reassuring him it wasn't Easter yet I heard about it every day for the rest of the week. Well it finally arrived and the kids relished in their very small amount of candy, paint set, kite, transformer, and play dough. They also enjoyed coloring eggs for a second time...and eating them too. We enjoyed watching General Conference over the weekend as well. The kids actually watched it very well and were excited to see President Monson. It was good to hear the words of the Prophet and Apostles. Their counsel and reassurance is always much needed. Benton loved hearing the story of Christ's Resurrection during the week and at church the previous Sunday. He come home from Sunbeams and retold the story to me. "First Jesus died and then he was resurrected". He loved to remind me that Jesus died for him and we loved to talk about how He lives and can visit us. I too know that Christ lives and am so grateful for the Resurrection that we can live together forever. Those kids are too cute to not be with for eternity!!!
