T-ball

Benton started t-ball almost the week after soccer ended. He was very excited about batting, but got a little bored in outfield. He would often build dirt castles, sit and rest, look for bugs, or cover his face with his glove when the sun was shining in his eyes. We kept reminding him to pay attention, but that was hard for him when the game moved so slow. He did a great job running around the bases like buzz lightyear or a train. He also did very well scooping the ball up and throwing it to first when he got to play "pitcher". This was the most excited spot on the field because that's where the ball pretty much stopped after every hit. He did a great job, and loved being with the other kids. It was fun for us to watch as well. We loved cheering the team on and look forward to more exciting seasons to come!
