Disneyland

We started the day at Disneyland a little late, but it was worth it! We were able to stop by City Hall and get a pass that let all of us enter the rides through the exit or handicap entrance because of Mae's leg. We were able to do this on every ride that Mae could go on. It helped so much! We started the day on the Jungle Cruise, the kids loved it. We headed over to Splash Mountain and only Emmie was brave enough to ride with me. Everyone loved Winnie the Pooh, especially Lyndie. Only Emmie and Mae were brave enough to try the Haunted Mansion with Daddy. They liked Jack Skeleton and the Christmas decorations, but were a little nervous about the ride as they exited and weren't sure they wanted to ride it again. All of the Fantasyland rides were a hit. We all especially loved Peter Pan and Dumbo. We even got Benton to ride Storybrook and go through the whale. He wasn't scared of it anymore. Benton's favorite ride was Star Tours. Emmie enjoyed it too. All three of them loved riding the roller coaster in Toon Town and went two times in a row! They all loved It's a Small World, which looked especially lovely at night, all lit up with Christmas lights. We made it to Main Street in time to see the snow fall and the lighting of the Castle. The kids were in awe. Such a lovely, magical place. And I can't think of anyone better to share it with!
