Disneyland

We spent Saturday at Disneyland. We hadn't planned on attending this portion of the trip, but thanks to the love and generosity of the Olmsteads we made it! What a great time we had, too! The kids were beyond thrilled, Mommy was probably more so though! We scored some matching shirts with points we had saved. Here we are waiting at the entrance of Adventure Land to hit Splash Mountain as soon as the park officially opens!

We made it with absolutely no line...no one else seemed to want to get wet right off the bat. We went a few times in a row for good measure. Benton was still a little nervous, Emmie said she loved it, but I think she was a little scared of that drop as well.

Pirates was next after Haunted Mansion. We officially scared all of the kids. Benton and I sat out Haunted Mansion, he would have none of that. After convincing everyone to ride Pirates of the Caribbean, they seemed to all enjoy it. Jungle Cruise is always a big hit. Emmie kept asking if it was real. She sure is a curious and observant little girl. Very inquisitive.

Space Mountain was a blast. The kids were a little nervous but loved the action! My two little munchkins hit Autopia with me and thought driving with no roof was pretty cool.

Star Tours was by far Benton's favorite. He even got to be the Jedi Spy one time, and I was the other time! Dumbo is a classic that all could enjoy. Lyndie was especially enthralled, she also loved Winnie the Pooh. So fun to see her face light up and watch her get more into the rides.

Cute little girls enjoyed riding TeaCups with their Mommy. We just enjoyed being spun in circles and snuggling up together.

Benton loved meeting Mickey and Minnie and gave lots of hugs. Emmie was a little shy as was Lyndie. Mae was happy to tag along and take some pictures.

All in all we had a grand time being together in the most magical place on earth! A great last vacation destination to spend with Uncle Brigham, who will soon be leaving for his mission. We are so grateful for that time spent together and for everyone making it possible for us to tag along!

That pretty pink balloon was waiting for us in our hotel room, compliments Pa and Grandma...so fun!
