We had such a fun Christmas Eve Day. Adam was able to take the day off, so we started with a big breakfast. We went to see "Frozen" at the theater in Maricopa that morning. The theater was big, clean, and not busy at all. It was fun sitting together and watching a wonderful show. Everyone was really into it and enjoyed it a lot, even Lyndie. Later we had a Christmas Program. The kids played the piano pieces they have been working on, performed singing musical numbers, and we sang together as a family. The kids are so talented and we love to share those talents with each other. We had our special Steak Dinner together and got ready for the luminaries. The kids helped to place the lit candles in the bag and we admired our handiwork. We made sure Santa could see our house that evening when he came. Super excited kids. We acted out the nativity. It was really sweet to see how Mae cared for "baby Jesus". She really loved the story and talking about Christ. Lyndie was a great wise man with daddy. She was very reverent. Benton and Emmie were also wonderful. It was a special time to remember our Savior and the reason we celebrate this wonderful season. The kids received their traditional Christmas pjs and we got all ready to dream of sugar plums. It is so fun to see the kids' excitement and to spend time with them. They are so wonderful and I feel very blessed to have these special people in my life!
