Another tradition...Desert Breeze Train Park. All of the Francois clan made our way to the park to ride the train, and the carousel. The kids always love going on the train, seeing the ducks, and the Christmas Lights. They also love riding the little coin operated machines while we wait. I love seeing them all try to pile on the same ride! Afterwards we had our special dinner to celebrate Christmas together. It is such a wonderful thing to be with family during this time of the year. I love that we all live close together. After dinner we played the musical whistle game and tried to guess which Christmas songs we were performing. It was a little chaotic playing with the kids, but we all laughed and had fun anyway.
Later that evening Santa came to visit! It was Pa, the only one who noticed was Benton and we told him to keep a secret, that Pa wanted to do something special for all of the kids. Mae said the Santa at the mall was not the real one, this one was! Even Lyndie and Emery warmed up to him and loved to sit on his lap. They must have felt a special bond. They all told him one last time what they wanted and were all ecstatic to have such a special visitor on Christmas Eve!
