We spent our Monday in Ephraim bowling. The kids lined up at the counter to wait for their new show. Mae did not want to wear the ugly boy shoes, but she finally put them on when that was the only way she could bowl. The kids used the special tool to help the ball go down the center of the lane. They were good at helping each other. It got a little crazy, but was a great time. We snacked on chili frys, and all kinds of goodies towards the end.
Pa read the kids "Twas the Night Before Christmas" and right in the story guess who showed up! Santa! The kids were shocked/scared/excited. They loved sitting on his lap and telling him what they wanted, and getting a treat. Some were a little shy. Emerson wanted nothing to do with him. It was a fun surprise. I love their sweet belief and innocence.
