Christmas Eve was full of fun and family. We played a Christmas card trivia game. We had a family talent show. Benton, Emmie, Mae, and I played the piano. Benton and Emmie played the violin, Brand and Pa the trumpet. We all sang. It was fun to feel the spirit of Christ through song and to enjoy each other and their talents. I love this new tradition we started in our family and have carried it on in Manti. We had a special Christmas dinner and a special treat. The kids acted out the Nativity as we read the story of our Savior's birth. Lyndie was the cutest little angel ever. We snuggled up in our new Christmas pjs and left Santa some cookies and milk. We said our prayers and prayed especially for a white Christmas.It was a magical night, and the kids did not go to sleep quickly! We all had sugar plums dancing in our heads.
