We showed up to Manti on Saturday and picked out a Christmas tree from a local lot. The ground was muddy and it was freezing. Some snow on the ground Sunday for the kids to enjoy. A light dusting, with just enough to throw at each other. We spent our Sabbath decorating the tree, making sugar cookies, playing in the "snow", and just being together. Emerson loved the cookies, they all did. I think some of them didn't even make it to the frosting station. Emerson loved going through the box of ornaments with his buddy Jack. he crawls after him and tries to "attack" in a loving manner. It is so fun to see these cute kids grow up and enjoy the light of Christmas on their faces. This eternal family was made possible by that Savior born over 2000 years ago. Because of Him we can be together forever and death has no sting. I am so grateful for my Savior and for this season of remembering and family.
