Proud to be an American

Happy Fourth of July! We spend our fourth having a blast! It all started at the 6:30 am ward pancake breakfast and water balloon fight. Benton wasn't quite sure what to do with the water balloons so mostly he threw them down at the grass. Then we headed over to the Francois' for a BBQ and swimming. The boys even snuck in a few min. (or more) of Mario Kart Wii. I guess I should stick myself and Benton into that category too because we were known to participate in a race or two! That evening we headed over to a field nearby MCC and watched the fire works show with the Francois' and Cooley's. Benton was a little nervous and sat in my lap with his hands up to his eyes. He was mezmerized and probably a little sleepy. We had a great time celebrating our freedom and really enjoyed spending it with our two children. What a blessing to be in this country and have the ability to choose how many kids we have, what to do for a living, who to worship...We are so very blessed!
