Christmas day was so special. The kids (and I) woke up bright and early and waited for the queue that we could head in and start the magic...when everyone else had been woken up we made our way into the living room. The kids were amazed by all of the presents and eager to begin opening them. We took turns so we could see the joy on all faces. The kids loved their gifts! Benton especially loved his new walkie talkie's, Emmie her Barbie furniture, Mae her doll furntiture, and Lyndie...well Lyndie just sucked her fingers. Emmie dived right into her candy and started in on the M&Ms before we were even done opening gifts. There was wrapping paper and garbage everywhere and gifts were being opened to be played with. It was a lovely sight. We are truly blessed. After a delicious gingerbread waffle breakfast (a tradition of us Cooleys) we got ready and went to church! It was such a special blessing to be able to attend sacrament meeting and partake of that beautiful program depicting the birth of our Saviour and remember His life on that very Christmas day. It was a fabulous Christmas!
