We talked Daddy into letting us get a real tree this year. We haven't been able to do that for years! We were going to wait until Thanksgiving weekend, but the weekend before was cold and rainy and just felt like winter. We decided that was the perfect time to go. We headed over to Fry's to look at the trees and quickly found a beautiful one on display. After paying for it the rain started...and boy did it come down! We waited in the car for a minute to see if it would die down, but it just got worse. So, we sent out Daddy and Benton to tie the tree to the roof. Benton held the tie downs and stayed dry under the umbrella while daddy worked hard to secure the tree to the roof. Looking out the window and seeing Benton standing there, I kept expecting him to say, "Fuuuuuuudddggge!" The girls and I were toasty and cozy in the car listening to Christmas music. We made it home and took the tree to the back patio to set up and let dry for awhile before it could be decorated!
