We went up Manti Canyon to find a nice picnic spot. We found one near the campgrounds. There was a little stream the kids could play in. The even found a snake! It was quite muddy and Mae lost her shoe, stuck in the mud. We were unable to find it and spent most of our time trying to recover it. The kids enjoyed the cool water. It was very nice in the shade. After we returned home I found a tick crawling in my hair! After stripping everyone down and bathing we didn't find any others. We are all so paranoid of ticks after having them in California. Thankfully we were blessed to be tick free. We loved spending time in the mountains and enjoying the beauty of God's creations.
